Rachel Kierann

I am a Sydney artist working in a free, semi-abstract contemporary style. Nature, colour and light inspire me. Raised by the beach and now surrounded by bush, I draw on memories of rock pools and woodland adventures.

My abstract work captures moments of transition — shifting light, colour, shape and mood — revealing calm and hidden complexity. I paint intuitively in layers with inks, paints and mixed media, using bold colours, texture, unusual shapes and occasional quirkiness to create interest.

I aim to remind viewers to pause, breathe and reconnect with the natural world.
