Fresh Stretch

Fresh Stretch' is my bright, colourful interpretation of the sweeping view of Collaroy Beach and part of the Collaroy Rockpool. This spot is made all the more special as it is the location for Head Above Water's annual swimathon. Each year in March, swimmers compete and swim in teams continuously for 24 hours in this conic beach pool to fundraise for this local charity. My recent art works focus on coastal landscapes on Sydney's Northern Beaches. For me, water and waves are captivating in a soothing way. I have sought to capture the colours, shapes and rhythms in this natural scene.
