Donna Maree

I work with acrylic paint to create abstracted landscapes that exist between memory and place.

Rather than depicting specific locations, my paintings explore how landscapes are felt, fragmented, and reassembled through perception. Layers, gestures, and shifting forms reflect the tension between control and spontaneity, clarity and obscurity. Through abstraction, I invite viewers to project their own experiences onto the terrain, encountering the landscape as an emotional and conceptual space rather than a fixed view
