The Spirit of Peninsula
March 8 - 22
Opening Night: March 8, 5 pm - 7 pm
An exhibition by the True Blue and a Little Bit of Yellow Artist Collective.
Four artists are on a mission to celebrate Australian nature through art while supporting humanitarian aid for Ukraine through the sale of artworks.
As ‘true blue’ friends, Ukrainians and Australians share a deep connection with nature, an admiration for its beauty, and a passion for environmental care. Presenting a collection of artworks across various mediums and styles, the artists invite the audience to explore the
Peninsula’s landscapes: the urban scenes of the Northern Beaches, serene seascapes, and the rich bushland. This exhibition is an invitation to discover nature’s treasures and make a difference.
Featured artists: Tetiana Koldunenko, Olena Vigovska, Natalya Kravchenko, Olena Levkivska.
All four artists were raised and educated in Ukraine before moving to Australia. Although they now call Australia home, they maintain strong ties to Ukraine through family and friends. The full-scale invasion brought them together, and since 2022, they have held 15 fundraising exhibitions. They believe that we can shape a brighter future through creativity and resilience.
