My functional bowls represent the wetlands, headlands, bushlands and beaches of the sparkling Northern Beaches. I use a ‘soft slab’ construction technique with a variety of clays, coloured stains and paper pulp.
Impressions of delicate marine algae were collected from Dee Why Beach and Cooks Terrace to form Two Beaches.
