Drawing is central and essential to my art through my practice of printmaking, sculpture and painting. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of traditional techniques to achieve a unique and individual narrative that explores and engages evolution, environment, memory, and endangered species.
‘We Used to Be People V’ is part of a series, inspired by the stories the African Grandmothers told their grandchildren, about the apes in the forest, so that they would stay in their tents over night and not wander off.
