The Shallow End

Earlier this year we set off on a road trip, inland and north. Much planning and preparation had been done months before hand with great enthusiasm. Our departure date arrived and we drove towards our next adventure. Our first day did not go according to plan! Late in the afternoon we pulled into Cessnock, and here we found a quiet little lap pool. It was our oasis for the afternoon and gave us a much needed break to get our heads back together and reassess our situation. Things got much better after that afternoon swim and we ended up having a wonderful time away! There are more road trips planned…
