Story:I first photographed Riddhi as a young sub-adult in 2020. Today, she reigns as the dominant tigress of Ranthambore, earning the title 'Lady of the Lakes.' Her mother is the famous Arrowhead and her great grandmother is the most famous tigress of India, Machli. In this breathtaking moment, Riddhi charges into the water, her powerful frame slicing through the surface as she pursues an adult Sambar deer. I could hardly believe my eyes—but luckily, I captured the action.
