Middle Head

This beautiful seascape depicts the craggy cliff faces of where bush meets sea in Middle Head, one can only imagine the rolling views as Prescott takes a snapshot - almost cropping any aspect of man out. There is a strong contrast between the warm yellow and green grasses and shrubbery, compared to the cliff face, its strength in its darkness. In the foreground a scraggly gum cuts through the canvas, its rounded knotted form standing in competition to the sharp geometric rocks behind it.
