Manly Pavillion

Peeking through the Norfolk Pines, Prescott paints the iconic heritage of the Manly Pavilion. The white building is delicately rendered, the sky and sea also awash with pastel tones, only broken up by the dark starkness of the pine trees which obstruct the view. Two black trunks shoot across the canvas, the branches and needles seemingly swaying in the wind to further hide the beauty of the Manly Pavilion.
