Decorticating

This work is depicted from Waratah track up along west head road located in Ku ring gais national park, “Decorticating” is where a gum tree sheds its bark, a beautiful dramatic display of exposing its new layer of charismatic oranges and yellows, being touched by light for the first time on a new layer of skin, growing, expanding, leaving behind what once use to be a memory, now the beginning of a new year of growth.
