Steve Cummings

Steve has been living and breathing photography for over 50 years.

While studying photography at Ultimo TAFE, he worked in a studio called "Exposure" in Surry Hills. He did everything from black and white to colour film processing and printing and even produced some giant murals that decorated the offices of many buildings in Sydney.

In 1975, Steve hit the road and travelled to Great Britain, Europe, and Morocco for almost a year. When he returned to Sydney, he worked in various photographic studios and advertising agencies before starting his own business in 1983 called "Lightplay". Steve worked with clients from all sorts of commercial and artistic backgrounds.

Living on the Northern Beaches, Steve draws inspiration from nature and loves black-and-white landscape photography.
